The Fox Den.

Branding Design

Fox Motors’ blend of marketing adapts for the various markets each of the 50+ stores are in. In the northern Michigan locations, partnership and grass roots marketing in the community are a high focus, and have seen a large return. In these areas Fox has worked to make its branda trusted, household name, so when anyone has an automotive need, they will think of Fox first.

Fox Grand Traverse, which services the Traverse City area with Ford, Lincoln, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, partnered in the 2021 season with the Pit Spitters. This local frontier league baseball team draws crowds all spring and summer to gather for family fun at a beautiful ballpark. Fox’s partnership involved various printed elements, but also made Fox the official sponsor of a premium seating and dining area, named for the season as The Fox Den.

Branded Signage.

Included in Fox’s sponsorship package was a number of printed banners, to be used as designation for the premiere area of the ballpark. Tables in this area are full-service and by reservation only, so the signage needed to represent the elite difference from the other seats in the park.

Design Options Presented

Branded Tables.

Grace designed the 3′ tables to not only represent The Fox Den naming for the area, but also offer QR codes to guide customers to food, drinks, and shopping. It was the hope that as customers scanned codes to order and enjoy refreshments, they will also choose to browse all of the inventory and brands Fox Motors offers in the area.

Design Options Presented

The Finalists.

The following three designs were the top choices from all that were initially presented. Ultimately the third option below was the choice, but option one was a close second because of the automotive wheel reference, and the availability to use QR codes from all angles and seats.
